Kinh cầu bà Thánh Monica
Kính lạy Bà thánh Monica, là Người Mẹ đạo đức gương mẫu của thánh Augustinô, Ngài đã kiên trì theo đuổi người con bướng bỉnh của Ngài bằng tình thương và lòng cảm mến, tha thứ và khuyên nhủ, và dùng những lời kêu cầu mạnh mẽ thấu tới thiên đàng.
Xin Ngài cầu bầu cho tất cả mọi người mẹ hôm nay để họ biết lôi kéo con cái họ trở về với Chúa. Xin cho họ biết gần gũi với con cái họ, dùng tình thương, tha thứ và khuyên nhủ với những người con trai, con gái hoang đàng đang sa cơ, lạc bước. Xin Ngài đưa những người con đang lạc bước trở về xum họp với mái ấm gia đình. Amen.
Kinh cầu Thánh Monica xin cho con cái được ơn hoán cải
Lạy Thánh Monica, con xin Ngài cầu cùng Chúa cho con. Ngài thấu hiểu con đang cảm thấy như thế nào vì chính ngài cũng đã từng trải qua những đoạn trường ấy.
Con đang đau khổ, vô vọng, và thất vọng. Con ao ước đứa con của con được trở về với Chúa Kitô và Giáo Hội, nhưng con không thể làm gì một mình. Con cần ơn Chúa giúp.
Xin ngài cùng với con cầu xin ân sủng quyền năng của Thiên Chúa tuôn đổ trên đời sống của con con. Xin ngài cầu cùng Chúa Giêsu làm tan chảy trái tim con của con, để chuẩn bị con đường ăn năn trở về, và xin ban Chúa Thánh Thần xuống trong đời sống của con con. Amen.

Prayer to Saint Monica
Exemplary Mother of the Great Augustine, you perseveringly pursued your wayward son, not with threats, but with prayerful cries to heaven. Intercede for all mothers in our day so that they may learn to draw their children to God. Teach them how to remain close to their children, even the prodigal sons and daughters who have sadly gone astray.
Dear St Monica, troubled wife and mother, many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime, yet you never despaired or lost faith. With confidence, persistence, and profound faith, you prayed daily for the conversion of your beloved husband, Patricius, and your beloved son, Augustine; your prayers were answered.
Grant me that same fortitude, patience, and trust in the Lord. Intercede for me, dear St. Monica, that God may favorably hear my plea.

Grant me the grace to accept His Will in all things, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Under the weight of my heartful burden, I turn to you, dear Saint Monica
and request your assistance and intercession.
From your place in heaven, I beg that you will plead before the Throne of the Holy One,
for the sake of my child, [Name], who has wandered from from the faith, and
all that we have tried to teach.
I know, dear Monica, that our children belong not to us, but to God,
and that God often permits this wandering as part of one’s journey toward Him.
Your son, Augustine, wandered, too; eventually he found the faith, and came to believe,
and in that belief became a true teacher.
Help me, therefore, to have patience, and to believe that all things – even this disappointing movement away from the faith – work ultimately to His own good purposes.
For the sake of my child’s soul, I pray to understand and trust in this.
St. Monica, please teach me to persist in faithful prayer as you did for your son’s sake.
Inspire me to behave in ways that will not further distance my child from Christ, but only draw [Name] gently towards his marvelous light. Please teach me what you know about this painful mystery of separation, and how it is reconciled in the re-orientation of our children toward heaven.
O Saint Monica, lover of Christ and His Church, pray for me, and for my child [Name], that we may acquire heaven, joining with you, there, in offering constant and thankful praise to God. Amen.
