Kinh ông Thánh Đa-Minh
Ở sự trông cậy lạ lùng Cha đã ban cho những kẻ thương khóc Cha đang lúc mong sinh thì, vì bấy giờ Cha đã hứa sau khi qua đời, Cha sẽ làm ích cho các anh em. Lạy Cha xin hãy giữ lời đã trối mà cầu giúp chúng con. Cha đã giãi sáng ra vì làm nhiều phép lạ dường ấy, mà chữa đã những kẻ phải liệt phần xác, thì xin Cha phù giúp chúng con cho được ơn Chúa Kitô mà chữa đã tật nguyền linh hồn chúng con.
Lạy Cha xin hãy giữ lời đã trối mà cầu giúp chúng con. Sáng danh Đức Chúa Cha và Đức Chúa Con và Đức Chúa Thánh Thần. Như đã có trước vô cùng, và bây giờ và hằng có và đời đời chẳng cùng.
Lạy Cha xin hãy giữ lời đã trối mà cầu giúp chúng con.
Lạy Cha Thánh Đaminh xin cầu cho chúng con.
Đáng chịu lấy những sự Chúa Kitô đã hứa.
Lạy Chúa là Đấng đã đoái thương soi sáng Hội Thánh Chúa bởi công nghiệp cùng những lời dạy dỗ ông thánh Đaminh là hiển tu Chúa và là Cha chúng con thì xin Chúa vì lời Người cầu bầu mà ban cho Hội thánh được sự phù hộ đời này, và hằng tấn tới thêm nhiều ích lợi thiêng liêng. Vì Đức Chúa Giêsu Kitô là Chúa chúng con. Amen.

Prayer for the Feast of Saint Dominic
May God the Father, who made us, bless us. May God the Son, who redeemed us, send healing into our midst.
May God the Holy Spirit, who gives us life, move within us.
May God give us eyes to see to God, ears to hear God, and hands to bring God’s work into the world.
May we walk with God and preach the word of God to all.
May the angel of peace watch over us and lead us at last by God’s grace to the eternal Kingdom. Amen.
Prayer to Saint Dominic for Intercession
O God, you have enlightened your Church by the eminent virtues and preaching of St. Dominic, your confessor.
Mercifully grant that by his prayers we may be protected against temporal necessities and daily improve in all that is spiritually good.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph most kind, bless us now and at the hour of our death.
O Lord, deliver us from a sudden and unprovided death. Amen.
God Of Truth
God of Truth you gave your church a new light in the life and preaching of our Father Dominic. Give us the help we need to support our preaching by holy and simple lives. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.

Lord God, you gave Saint Dominic to the Church of his day
as a great preacher of your truth.
We pray that he will help us in our time
by his merits, his teaching, and his unfailing prayer.

O glorious Saint Dominic, thou who wast a model of mortification and purity, by punishing thy innocent body with scourges, with fastings, and with watchings, and by keeping inviolate the lily of thy virginity, obtain for us the grace to practice penance with a generous heart and to keep unspotted the purity of our bodies and our hearts.

O great Saint, who, inflamed with divine love, didst find thy delight in prayer and intimate union with God; obtain for us to be faithful in our daily prayers, to love Our Lord ardently, and to observe His commandments with ever-increasing fidelity.
