Kinh ông Thánh Giêrađô Maiella
Thân lạy Thánh Giêrađô, vì Ngài có lòng kính mến Chúa hết lòng, nên cũng rất tận tình thương yêu người ta. Ngay từ khi còn sống ở trần thế, Ngài đã ra tay giúp đỡ những người nghèo khó, những người gặp gian nan thử thách.
Chúng con thật lòng tin tưởng cầu xin Ngài cứu giúp chúng con. Chúng con đang phải buồn phiền lo âu, nhất là ban cho chúng con ơn riêng này ___ (kể ra điều mình muốn xin).
Xin Ngài cầu bầu cho chúng con được ơn biết noi gương Ngài là luôn vững lòng yêu mến, tin cậy nơi Thiên Chúa. Amen.
Kinh khấn Thánh Giêrađô cho các bà Mẹ mang thai
Lạy Thánh Giêrađô nhân lành “Vị thánh bổn mạng của những người mẹ đang mang thai” xin hãy giúp con biết cảm tạ Chúa vì được ban ơn làm mẹ. Trong thời kì thai nghén, con đã học biết kêu cầu cùng thánh nhân, và đặt sự an toàn của mẹ con chúng con dưới sự chở che quyền năng của Ngài. Nơi Thánh nhân, con học được sự tin tưởng vào Chúa và châm ngôn sống “Chúa sẽ lo liệu” của thánh nhân trở thành niềm hy vọng và sự an ủi con.
Con xin cảm tạ Thánh Giêrađô đã ban cho hai mẹ con chúng con được mạnh khỏe. Xin Ngài hãy giúp con biết trân trọng ân huệ làm mẹ, và ban cho con những cần thiết để nuôi dạy con cái thành người con của Chúa. Với tâm tình tạ ơn, con sẽ tiếp tục kêu cùng thánh nhân, xin Ngài ban ơn cho chúng con và các bà mẹ đang mang thai trên thế giới, đang mong mỏi được thấy con mình mở mắt chào đời trong mạnh khỏe và bình an.

Lạy thánh Giêrađô là tôi tá yêu thương của Đức Chúa Giêsu, mẫu gương trọn hảo của sự hiền lành và khiêm nhường của Chúa Cứu Thế chúng con, và là người con trung thành của Mẹ Thiên Chúa, xin hãy nhóm lên trong trái tim chúng con một tia lửa bác ái thiên đàng đã từng cháy sáng trong Ngài và làm cho chúng con trở nên một thiên thần của tình yêu.
Lạy thánh Giêrađô vinh hiển, giống như Thầy Chí thánh của Ngài, Ngài chịu đựng không kêu ca hay than vãn trước những lời vu khống của kẻ ác nhân kết án dối trá. Ngài đã được nuôi dạy bởi Thiên Chúa là quan thầy và là đấng bảo vệ những bà mẹ mang thai. Xin gìn giữ những người mẹ trong cơn khốn khó và xin bao bọc thai nhi mà họ đang cưu mang để thai nhi được sinh ra an toàn trong ánh sáng ban ngày và lãnh nhận bí tích rửa tội.
Lạy thánh Dòng Chúa Cứu Thế, gương mẫu của linh mục và các giáo sĩ, xin dủ lòng thương đến những bà mẹ đau khổ, xin cầu bầu cho những bà mẹ mang thai. Xin đừng để họ ích kỷ như những người đang sẵn lòng kết liễu sự sống mà họ đang cưu mang trong họ. Nhưng thay vào đó, cho họ luôn ý thức rằng họ được đặc quyền là khí cụ qua đó Thiên Chúa mang một sự sống nữa vào thế gian. Xin khích lệ, nâng đỡ họ vì lợi ích của con cái họ và cho sự vinh quang của Thiên Chúa sự sống.

Almighty and loving Father, I thank you for giving St. Gerard to us as a great role model and powerful friend.
Through his example, he has shown us how to love and trust You.
You shower many blessings on those who call upon his assistance.
For Your greater glory and my welfare, please grant me the favours which I now ask in his name.

And you, my powerful patron, St Gerard Majella, intercede for me before the throne of God.
Draw near to His throne and do not leave until you have been heard.
O Good Saint, to you I address my fervent prayers; graciously accept them and let me experience in some way the effects of your powerful intercession. Amen.
Prayer to St. Gerard Majella for an Expectant Mother
Great St. Gerard,
beloved servant of Jesus Christ,
perfect imitator of Jesus,
and devoted child of the Mother of God,
enkindle within my heart one spark
of that Heavenly fire of charity which glowed in yours.
Because you bore,
without murmur or complaint,
the calumnies of wicked men
when falsely accused of crime,
you have been raised up by God
as the patron and protector of expectant mothers.
Preserve me/her in the dangers of motherhood,
and shield the child I/she now bear(s),
that it may be brought safely to the light of day,
and receive the sacrament of baptism.
Prayer to Saint Gerard Majella for Motherhood
O Good St. Gerard, powerful intercessor before God and wonder worker of our day, confidently I call upon you and seek your aid.
While on earth, you fulfilled all of God’s designs; help me also, to always do God’s holy will.
St Gerard, beseech the Master of Life, from whom all parenthood proceeds, to bless me with offspring, that I may raise up children to God in this life and heirs to the kingdom of God’s glory in the life to come. Amen.

O Great Saint Gerard, beloved servant of Jesus Christ, perfect imitator of your meek and humble Savior and devoted child of the Mother of God, enkindle within my heart one spark of that heavenly fire of charity which glowed in your heart and made you an angel of love.
O Glorious Saint Gerard, you were raised up by God as the patron and protector of expectant mothers because when falsely accused of a crime, you bore like your Divine Master, without murmur or complaint, the malice of wicked men.
Preserve me from danger and from the excessive pains accompanying childbirth, and shield the child which I now carry, that it may see the light of day and receive the purifying and life-giving waters of baptism through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayer to Saint Gerard Majella for Mother and Child
O Almighty and Everlasting God, through the Holy Spirit, you prepared the body and soul of the glorious Virgin Mary to be a worthy dwelling place of your divine Son. Through the same Holy Spirit, you sanctified St. John the Baptist, while still in his mother’s womb.
Now, hear the prayers of your humble servant who implores you, through the intercession of St. Gerard, to protect me amid the dangers of childbearing and to watch over the child with which you blessed me.
May this child be cleansed by the saving water of baptism and, after a Christian life on earth, may we, both mother and child, attain everlasting bliss in heaven. Amen.
Prayer to Saint Gerard Majella for a sick Child
O Most beloved Saint Gerard, who, like the Savior, loved children and by your prayers freed many from disease and even death, listen to us who are pleading for our sick child.
We thank God for the great gift of our son/daughter and ask God to restore our child to health if such be his holy will. This favour we beg of you through your love for all children and mothers. Amen.
